The final plat for housing development west of Jamestown was approved last week by the Sweetwater County commissioners -- paving the way for the development of homes near Rolling Green Country Club.
The development encompasses nearly 42 acres north of Interstate 80 off of Gaensselen Road. The area is zoned as a single-family residential subdivision. Eric Bingham, director of the county’s land use office, said the zoning is the most restrictive zoning, only being open for the development of residential homes.
