Couple to celebrate 60th anniversary

Lenord and Kay Hansen of Mesa Ariz., formerly of Green River, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary June 18. The family will plan a reunion/get together when this virus allows.

Lenord Hansen and the former Kay Sorbie were married June 18, 1960 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Green River.

They are the parents of four children: Kayleen and husband Wade Wollman, Kris and husband Dick Bettolo of Rock Springs, Craig and wife Sheryl Hansen of Green River and Karla and husband Mike Healey of Mesa, Ariz.

The couple have 12 grandchildren: Patrick (Bethany) and Eric (Vanessa) Bettolo, Nichole (Jake) Ribordy and Bryce (Lexi) Hansen of Rock Springs, Kyle (Erica) Wollman of Austin, Texas, Brandon Hansen of Texas, Natalee (Nathan) Gomez and Brittany (Clay) Allen of Green River, Jordan (Jordyn) Price of Norton Shores, Mich., Colton Price and Carson and Kaitlyn Reekie of Mesa, Ariz.

The Hansens are blessed with nine great-grandchildren, with a 10th on the way: Cameron, Mackenzie and Noah Ribordy; Hudson, Lincoln and McKynlee Gomez; Tynleigh Bettolo and Gentry and Wyatt Allen.

The couple lived and raised their children in Green River and moved after retirement. The Hansens enjoy playing golf, the Arizona winters and visiting their family in Wyoming.
