Candidate filing period continues

A few more candidates have filed for election in the upcoming Primary Election in August.

So far, a race has developed for the Green River City Council Ward I seat. Councilman Tom Murphy has filed for re-election and faces challenger Sherry Bushman. If the two remain the only candidates for the position, both will move on to the General Election in November regardless of the results. Should one or more people file for candidacy in the ward, the two candidates with the most votes will move on to the November election.
