Lloyd Logan

Lloyd Logan died March 9, 2020.

Lloyd and his twin brother Floyd were born on December 14, 1936 in Dawson County, Nebraska to Henry and Mabel (Potter) Logan and moved to Green River, Wyoming before they started school. He graduated high school in Green River. He married Juleen K (Warn) September 25, 1957 in Green River and worked for the Union Pacific Railroad. He later worked for El Paso natural gas in Big Piney, Wyo. He was drafted in the Army in 1959 and was stationed in Hawaii until 1962 and discharged. He worked again for El Paso Natural Gas. In 1965 they moved to Grants Pass and Lloyd bought his own truck and drove over the road for 30 years until his retirement. Their daughter Valarie was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Lloyd loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved playing cards, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed gardening and anything that entailed the outdoors you would find Lloyd. He was a Jack of all trades. He did all his own work on their property, whether it was manual labor or mechanical work, Lloyd could do it.

With his wife by his side they accomplished a lot in their 62 years of marriage. He especially loved his family and his yard. He was a helping hand to anyone that needed it.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Juleen (Warn) Logan, daughter Valarie (Tony) Simmons of Grants Pass. 3 grandchildren Preston (Kayleigh) Sims of White City, Dylan (Megan) Williams of Cave Junction, and Kayleen (Richard) Paz of Grants Pass. Also 5 great grandchildren.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Mabel (Potter) Logan, 3 brothers, Beryl, Neil and twin brother Floyd, and 1 great grandchild.
