Green River vet center under new ownership

Castle Rock Veterinary Center is under new ownership.

Dr. Kevin O’Neall and his wife Ellen have owned the practice for almost 30 years and were able to provide great service to the community, but are ready to retire and enjoy life outside of veterinary medicine.

Castle Rock Veterinary Center will now be under the name Castle Rock Veterinary Hospital. The hospital will provide three new veterinarians that will staff the hospital to provide area pets quality and progressive medicine and will strive to provide quality customer service, using the latest medical techniques and a personal and professional atmosphere. Some of those services are: orthopedic surgeries, internal medicine, preventive medicine, small animal and equine dentistry, small animal and equine reproduction, equine chiropractic adjustments and lameness services, bovine services including pulmonary arterial pressure testing, ultrasound pregnancy testing, trich testing, semen evaluations, heifer spaying, embryo transfer, artificial insemination, health certificates, bangs vaccinating.

Castle Rock Veterinary Hospital also won’t only be treating small animals, but plan to be able to treat all species of animals. The doctors have great experience with horses, cattle, and small ruminants, as well as with dogs, cats, and exotic species. The hospital also has mobile vehicles and can make field calls if veterinarians need to come to a residence or corral. In the future, the hospital will plan days to come to the city corral systems to treat and examine any horses that are housed in those locations.

Castle Rock Veterinary Hospital is available for emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
