U18 softball brings home state

Green River Chaos took the state championship in Casper last weekend.

The team has been playing together since April said coach Tami Kelley. She was very proud of the team and even commended them for playing the Cheyenne team that placed 6th in nationals. They just had a really great season.

The team consisted of 15 players ranging in ages from 14 to 19 made up of recreational team players. With three seniors who won’t be coming back next year Aaliyah Brady, Felicity Peterson and Megan Yoak. The girls were invaluable to helping the team win, especially Yoak who had an injury but remained a team player.
