Commissioner applications due June 4

Anyone interested in filling the remainder of Don Van Matre’s Sweetwater County Commission term have until June 4 to apply.

In a press release from Teresa Richards, chairman of the Sweetwater County Republican Party, people interested in filling the term are asked to submit an application and show up to a special central committee meeting at the Outlaw Inn in Rock Springs, at 1630 Elk St., June 8 at 11 a.m. During this meeting, three people will be selected as candidates for the commissioners to choose from.
