Wilson sentenced Thursday

Former Green River City Councilman Allan Wilson’s plea agreement was finalized during his sentencing hearing Thursday morning.

Pleading guilty to sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree, Wilson’s other charges were dismissed and was placed on five years supervised probation. If he completes the probation term, the charge will be removed from his record.

If not, Wilson faces a maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a $20,000 fine.

District Court Judge Nena James told Wilson nothing could stop her from sentencing Wilson to the full penalty if he violates his probation.
