The Lady Wolves are ready

Erika Wilson readies herself for a shot during practice last week. The Lady Wolves basketball team start their season this weekend with a tournament in Casper.

The Lady Wolves basketball team has been hitting the courts for the past couple of weeks to prepare for the season.

"We have a lot of girls that have come out to play basketball this year," head coach Rick Carroll said.

So far, he's noticed how positive the players' attitudes are and how quickly they are unifying as a team.

This year, 36 Lady Wolves from freshman to seniors have been at practices, consisting of four seniors, nine juniors, 10 sophomores and 13 freshmen.

"We all practice at the same time," he said.

During practice, players are mixed and matched to see which players work well...
