Election finances reported

A few candidates reported raising and spending several thousands of dollars in their election bids, according to campaign finance documents reviewed by the Green River Star.

Candidates are required to report the amounts they raised and spent on their campaigns during and prior to the elections. Along with candidates seeking positions on the Green River City Council and Sweetwater County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees, candidates for county offices, as well as the committee involved in promoting the county’s lodging tax, were required to submit reports.
