Hannah Soltis

Hannah Soltis, 90, passed away Aug. 5, 2018, at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs. She was a longtime resident of Rock Springs.

Soltis was born Dec. 31, 1927, in Dawson, N.M., the daughter of Cotton Harney and Beatrice P. Harney.

She attended schools in Superior and was a 1945 graduate of the Superior High School.

Soltis married William Boyd "Butch"  Soltis Sr., Feb. 10, 1949, in Green River.

She was employed at Broadway Liquor for over 20 years as a liquor salesman. 

Soltis was a member of the First Congregational Church UCC.

She enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, knitting, gardening, spending time at their cabin and baking cookies.

Survivors include one son, William Boyd Soltis Jr. and wife Lorraine "Lori" of Rock Springs; three grandchildren, B.J. Soltis and wife Kelly, Derek Soltis, Doug Durbin; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Soltis, Shaylynn Romero, Landon Romero, and Evan Soltis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Renna Cotrell.
