Cindy Lu Majhanovich, 63, passed away July 25, 2018, in Spokane, Wash., amongst her loved ones following a prolonged illness.

She was a resident of Spokane, Wash., and a former longtime resident of Green River and Rock Springs.

Majhanovich was born Feb. 6, 1955, in Rock Springs, the daughter of John "Jack" Lowham and Josephine Munari. She attended schools in Green River and was a graduate of Green River High School with the class of 1973.

To many, she will always be remembered as one of the kindest and most generous people one has ever met. She loved her friends and family with a fierceness that only a truly unselfish heart can possess. Her generosity to charities throughout her life has always been something that people should admire and strive to emulate. Cindy's love of gardening, cooking, baking, and home decorating could compete with the likes of Martha Stewart. She was compassionate, understanding, big-hearted, selfless, sympathetic, considerate, warm, and altogether a great person that will truly be missed by everyone that had the privilege to meet her.

Survivors include her mother, Josephine Rudy of Denver; one son, Brian Majhanovich and wife Kayla of Green River; two daughters, Lisa Bunning of Spokane, Wash., and Chauna Bingham and partner Kari Eckberg of Spokane, Wash. five grandchildren, Madison Guillen, Jordan Bunning, Olivia Bunning, Carson Majhanovich and Adalyn Majhanovich; one sister, Chris Hutchings of Colorado; two nieces, Tiffany Hutchings and Sasha Hutchings of Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her father, John "Jack" Lowham.

Honorary pallbearers include her son, Brian Majhanovich, and all her boys: Drew Varley, Tony Allais, Scott Sager, Marc Cederburg, C.J. Dana, and Alex McCurtain.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will take place at 1 p.m., Aug. 20, at the Holy Communion Episcopal Church, 255 2nd St., in Rock Springs. Friends may call one hour prior to funeral services.
