Jennifer Marie (Christiansen) Mitchell Raines

Jennifer Marie (Christiansen) Mitchell Raines peacefully passed away in her sleep July 15, 2018, in Vernon ,Texas. She was the daughter of David and Katie (Mize) Christiansen. She was the proud owner of her company "Sparkle and Shine Tumblers."

Jennifer grew up in Green River with her family. She moved to Delta, Utah, when she married Jeff Mitchell in April 1998. She lived in Utah until Jeff passed away April 4, 2009.

On Sept. 17, 2011, Jennifer married Daron Raines in Rock Springs. They moved to Floresville, Texas, in December 2011.

Jennifer was an amazing Wife, Mother, Glammy (grandma), Sister, Daughter and Friend. She always had a crafty finger that left a trail of glitter everywhere she went. If anyone had any questions about scrapbooking or any crafts, she was the one they asked. Jennifer loved watching the deer every night during feeding time. She loved motorcycle rides and going to concerts. Jennifer was the number one Dallas Cowboy fan no doubt. She loved to spend time watching movies with her family. "Polar Express," and "Gone with the Wind" were her favorites. Jennifer always left her smiley face with everyone she met. She was always so happy and a wonderful person to talk to. She loved her family dearly and did anything she could to give them what they wanted and needed.

She is survived by her husband; daughters Jasmine and Lindsey; son Austin Mitchell; grandsons, Anthony, Mayson and Izayha Alfaro, all of Floresville, Texas; Amanda and Dalton Raines of Rock Springs; parents David and Katie Christiansen of Green River; Three sisters, Serena Nussbaum (Darrel) of Rock Springs, Tiffany Gies (Steve) of North Platte, Neb., and Sonia Carson (John) of Green River; grandmother Marjorie Christiansen of Rock Springs; in-laws Penny and Chris Baker of Vernon, Texas, and Mitchell and Tammy Raines of Harrold, Texas, Sterling Raines of Vernon, Texas and Colton Cline of Florida; along with several aunts, uncles nieces and nephews.

She preceded in death by her grandparents, Vivian Mize, Hugh Mize and Dale Christiansen; her uncles Terry Mize and Franklin Mize and aunt Rene Christiansen.
