The Green River Splash Park was a busy place Monday morning.
With temperatures already in the upper 70s, several families brought their children to the Splash Park to cool off.
Some children were running through the splash park, while others decided the splash park just wasn't enough and proceeded to fill water balloons and water guns to either throw or spray at each other.
When the children would get cold, they would run and play on the playground equipment at Evers Park, which is only several feet away from the splash park.
