Many attend fundraising event

With the parking lot at Castle Rock Rehabilitation Center full, residents had no choice but to park along Highway 30 to attend the annual Easter Carnival.

For the fourth year in a row, CRRC hosted an Easter Carnival for its spring fundraiser.

All of the proceeds raised during the event will go to the activities fund.

Marilyn Dockter, CRRC social services director, said the center used to host an annual Easter egg hunt, but then they decided to change it to a carnival because a lot of other places in Green River started hosting Easter egg hunts.
