David Paul Trujillo, 64, passed away Oct. 29, 2017, at his home in Rock Springs. He was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs.
Trujillo was born Nov. 6, 1952, the son of Tony M. Trujillo and Lucy V. Trujillo.
He attended schools in Rock Springs.
Trujillo married Karen Probert and they later divorced.
He worked as an operating engineer in construction until an accident forced his retirement in 1984.
Trujillo enjoyed spending time with his family, and was an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include two daughters, Kristy Trujillo of Rock Springs and April Trujillo and fiancé Tony Kumer of Rock Springs; three brothers, Tony Trujillo and wife Lillian of Rock Springs, Bob Trujillo of Cheyenne and Eddie Trujillo and wife Penny of Rock Springs; six sisters, Marina Cox of Rock Springs, Martha Gindt of Manitowoc, Wisc., Margaret Reed and husband James of Gettysburg, Penn., Lucille Murphy of Rock Springs, Bertha Flanagan of Rock Springs and Bonnie Winner and husband Donny of Rock Springs; two grandchildren, James Foster and McKenzie Ouellette; as well several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Willie Trujillo and Frankie Trujillo and one daughter, Annette Trujillo.
Cremation has taken place and services are pending
