Center receives sizable donation

Thanks to a $3,000 grant from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation, the Sweetwater County Child Developmental Center will purchase much needed technology for teachers.

“I can’t thank the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation enough for the generous donation to the SCCDC,” Lu Kasper, Executive Director, Sweetwater County Child Developmental Center, said. “We are in desperate need of upgrading technology within our buildings, but with ongoing budget cuts, it’s been next to impossible. Your generous donation will allow us to purchase new computers for several classrooms in both Green River and Rock Springs. Thanks again.”

“We are pleased to support the Sweetwater County Child Developmental Center with this donation from our foundation,” Ron Wild, Rocky Mountain Power regional business manager, said. “As part of this community, Rocky Mountain Power is grateful for all the work the Sweetwater County Child Developmental Center does in our community.”
