GRHS track team starts season in Utah

With 35 teams from Wyoming, Utah and Idaho and over 1,000 athletes competing, the Wolves kicked of their 2017 outdoor track season this past weekend.

According to head track coach Dan Hansen, the weather was perfect 70 plus degrees and the kids got of to a good start.

Leading the way for the Lady Wolves were Natasha Young in the throws with two top-five places placing fifth in the discus, 91’10” and second in the shot put 34’5.5” and Andri Dewey, finishing ninth in the 200-meter dash at 27.46, eighth in the 100 meters with 13.24 and seventh in the long jump at 15’2.”
