Carl E. Smith

Carl E. Smith, 68, died March 3, 2017.

Born March 30, 1949, to Melvin and Eleanor (Evers) Smith, he grew up in Green River.

He married LeeAnn Teuscher Dec. 4, 1976, and had two daughters. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a clerk in Green River, then became a train dispatcher in Cheyenne, later moving to Omaha, Neb.

He is survived by his wife LeeAnn, daughters Regina and husband John Gill and Theresa and husband Jon Snell, grandchildren Evelyan Snell and Michael Gill, his brother Richard Smith and his sister Mary Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Edmund Carl Snell.

The family plans to host a private service at a later date. Condolences can be sent to the family or to the American Alzheimers Association.
