Ardath Vernell Logan

Ardath Vernell Logan, 96, of Rock Springs passed away March 3, 2017 at Mission at Castle Rock in Green River.

The daughter of Dewitt and Nellie Hampton Keefee was born in Gering, Neb., Sept. 30, 1920. 

She grew up in Wheatland, where she attended the local schools and later married John Logan. They lived in Wheatland and later they moved to Rock Springs.

John joined the army and upon his discharge was hired by Mountain Fuel as a plant operator.

They lived in the company camps at Hiawatha and Powder Wash, Colo.  During their time in the camps, Ardath assisted and ran the company cook house...
