Beverly Jane Randles

Beverly Jane Randles, 91, died peacefully at home Nov. 15, 2016 in Green River.  She was born on Sept.16, 1925 in Sherman Oaks, Calif., to Hugh and Hazel Pearl Ferguson.

The Ferguson family moved from California to Oklahoma, where she grew up and graduated from Rocky High School in 1943. She attended the University of Oklahoma and later worked at Tinker Air Force Base assembling planes during World War II.

Beverly Jane married Ralph Owren Randles in 1948. They were happily married for 56 years together and welcomed four children into their home. She was a loving individual who was passionate about molding her children into responsible adults.

Her children remember her as a loving and caring mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Beverly Jane was an accomplished soprano singer. Her hobbies included camping, boating and fishing with her family and friends.  She and her husband were campground hosts for 10 years at various Corp of Engineer locations including Hideout Canyon and Buckboard at the Flaming Gorge Reservoir on the Wyoming-Utah border. She was a member of the Daughters of the Nile and often accompanied her husband at numerous Masonic and Shriner activities. 

Beverly Jane is survived by her siblings, Hugh and spouse Carole Ferguson of Gillette, Gertrude and spouse Donald Graham of Tulsa, Okla .; her children, Ralph Owren and spouse Shawna Randles Jr. of Rock Springs, Dr. Robbie Lynn de Leur and spouse Carl Brown of Green River, Clyde and Sharon McCaslin of Willard, Utah; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Hazel Pearl Ferguson, sister Daurice Peterson, husband Ralph Owren Randles, children Rebecca Randles and John Russell Randles, and grandsons Christopher Andre Randles and John Robert de Leur. 

Services took place Nov. 19.
