Warm weather greets kids in November

While the adults were busy in voting booths across the city, children in Green River's elementary schools were enjoying another sunny and warm day.

At Harrison Elementary School, children took advantage of their afternoon recess time without coats and jackets. Elementary students weren't the only ones able to take advantage of a warm November day. Along Uinta Drive, students from Monroe Intermediate School placed their signs honoring local veterans without worrying about frost or snow on the ground Tuesday afternoon.

More warm autumn weather is on the way locally. According to Weather.com, daytime temperatures should average in the low 60s and high 50s throughout the week. Evening temperatures are getting cooler however, with averages expected to hover in the low 30s.
