Mary Pond Hopkins

Mary Pond Hopkins, 77, passed away, July 11, 2016 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County following a week long illness.

 A longtime resident of Green River and former resident of Laramie.  

She was born on Sept. 5, 1938 in Powell, the daughter of the late Harold Pond and Elvira Howell Pond.

Hopkins attended schools in Laramie, and was a graduate of the Laramie High School with the class of 1956. She attended the University of Wyoming and received her bachelors degree in music and later obtained her masters degree in music education at the University of Wyoming in 1972.
