An animal control officer met an individual at the animal shelter on 80 E. Teton Blvd.

Officers responded to a barking-dog complaint on East 2nd Street South. Officers contacted the resident, who brought the dog inside and was given a warning.

Officers contacted an individual who reported receiving harassing text and social media messages. Officers completed a report regarding the incident.

Officers were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call. Officers contacted the residents and determined the call was accidental.

An officer gave a traffic warning for an alleged equipment violation on Schultz Street and Jefferson Street.

Officers responded to the Green River Probation and Parole Office for an agency assist. At the office, officers contacted Cody White, 30, of Rock Springs, who was arrested per an arrest-and-hold order for a probation violation.

Officers responded to a parking complaint at 410 Uinta Drive. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and moved the vehicle.

Officers investigated a report of shoplifting at 905 Bridger Drive. Two juvenile females were issued a trespass warning for the property. A 17-year-old female, from Green River, was issued a citation for alleged shoplifting.

Animal control officers received a call of a black-and-white dog at large at 160 W. Flaming Gorge Way. The dog was located and returned to the owner.

Officers received a call of people riding dirt bikes in the area of Waggener Street.

Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted the resident who had a verbal dispute with an individual who left prior to officers arrival.

Animal control officers received a call of a tan dog in traffic on Astle Avenue. The dog was located and returned to its property.

Officer were dispatched to a fire alarm at 1445 Uinta Drive, which was determined to be a false alarm.

Officers attempted to serve a court summons on Alabama Drive.

Animal control officers located a dog at large, which was returned to its property on Colorado Drive.

Officers were dispatched to an alarm on Wyoming Drive. The resident was contacted, the property was checked and appeared OK.

Animal control officers received a call of a yellow Labrador with a purple collar and no tags at large on Hoover Drive. Animal control officers checked the area and were unable to locate the dog.

Animal control officers received a call of a dog at large on Ironwood Street. The dog was located and taken to the animal shelter, at 80 E. Teton Blvd.

A parking citation issued for allegedly parking the wrong way on the street, on East 4th South.

Officers tagged a vehicle for an alleged parking problem on East 2nd Street North and North 4th East.

A traffic citation was issued for alleged cell-phone use on South 1st West and West 3rd South.

Animal control officers were contacted about a previously reported dog bite on Fall View Drive.

Officers checked on a property at the request of a resident who is out of town.

Officers responded to the Green River Probation and Parole Office for an agency assist. At the office, officers contacted Jessilyn Potter, 31, of Green River, who was arrested per an active Sweetwater County warrant for an alleged probation violation on an original charge of possession of heroin.

Officers received a call of a juvenile knocking on doors in the area of Logan Street and running off. Officers located the juvenile who was given a warning and released to a parent.

Officers checked on an unoccupied vehicle with an open trunk, on Jensen Street and Uinta Drive.

Officers checked on a vehicle outside a business after hours, at 599 E. 4th South. The motorist reported having vehicle problems.

Officers were dispatched to an alarm at 200 Uinta Drive. Officers checked the property, contacted the responsible party for the property and the property appeared OK.

Officers responded to a report of an individual laying on the roadway at 50 W. Railroad Avenue. Officers contacted the individual, Austin Dimick, 23, of Green River, who was arrested per a Sweetwater County warrant for alleged failure to appear for a probation revocation hearing and per a Green River Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear for a probation revocation. Dimick was also charged with alleged possession of marijuana.

Officers attempted to serve a court paperwork on Birch Street.

Officers contacted the owner of a trailer regarding a parking problem on Wyoming Drive and East Teton Boulevard, who advised they would move the trailer.

Officers were out with individuals for work restitution on Wind River Drive.

Officers responded to a report of a violation of the door-to-door sales Green River ordinance by a Direct TV salesperson. It was reported the salesperson did not pay attention to the no solicitation sign. Jaden Chapman, 21, of Nampa, Idaho was issued a citation for door-to-door solicitation.

A traffic stop was made on Monroe Avenue and Bramwell Street, and a traffic citation was issued for alleged compulsory auto insurance and a warning given for child restraint required.

Officers responded to a report of a found check and the checked was returned to the owner.

Officers responded to a report of a juvenile problem.

Officers received a call of a brown Chihuahua at large and a medium sized black dog at large on Oregon Circle.

Officers contacted an individual who received harassing messages on social media.

Officers were dispatched to a report of an altercation outside a business, at 24 E. Flaming Gorge Way. During the investigation officers contacted the involved parties, completed a report regarding the incident which was forwarded to the Sweetwater County Attorney’s Office.

Officers contacted a resident who requested a welfare check on an individual, who left their residence and they have not been able to contact them. The individual later contacted the reporting party and was OK.

Officers contacted an individual by phone for a citizen assist on Uinta Drive.

Officers received a call of a vehicle that had been parked in a parking lot for a couple of hours, at 895 Uinta Drive. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle, who advised they would move the vehicle.

Officers were dispatched to an alarm at 661 Uinta Drive. Upon arrival, officers contacted employees and the alarm company advised the individuals were allowed to be at the address.

Officers responded to a report of an altercation between juveniles. Officers contacted one of the juveniles and a parent regarding the incident, which is under investigation.

Animal control officers received a call of a contained dog that may have bitten someone on Logan Street. The dog was taken to the animal shelter.

Animal control officers were contacted by the parent of the child who was thought to have been bitten and determined the dog had not bitten them.

Officers responded to a report of larceny of a bicycle on Jensen Street. Officers followed up on the incident and the bicycle was returned to the reporting party.

Officers contacted a resident, in regards to a violation of the door-to-door sales Green River ordinance by a Direct TV salesperson. It was reported the salesperson did not have any identification.
