Green River played in a rough game against Rock Springs Thursday. Rock Springs grabbed the lead early in the game and held it throughout the night. The Tigers took a commanding lead at the end of the first quarter, extending the point deficit to 12 in favor of the Tigers, 19-7.
“We played probably our worst game of the season,” head Coach Laurie Ivie said. “We did not play well from start to finish.”
Once the Tigers got a large lead over the Wolves, it was a difficult obstacle to overcome. It was a large obstacle in points, but more so mentally.
