Boys win in forfeit Thurs.

The Green River High School varsity boys’ basketball team is having a difficult time clearing that hurdle and getting their next win.

Thursday, the varsity boys went up against Evanston. It was initially a loss for Green River with the final score of 64-37. Yet, the game ended in a forfeit by Evanston, because a member of the Evanston team played over the quarter allotment time for players, playing in both the junior varsity and varsity games.

Green River’s high scoring players of the game, Chase Stoeger and Hunter Spartz scored nine points each for the team.
