Green River Council rejects electrical contract bid

The Green River City Council rejected a bid for the city’s electrical maintenance at Tuesday’s meeting.

The city’s previous electrical contract agreement is now expired. The bid proposed by Mountain West Electrical Inc. was 50-61 percent higher than the previous city electrical contracts.

By rejecting the bid for a city-wide electrical contract, this allows the various city departments can call any electrical work provider for a quote, and will contract out individually for each project or work that needs done.
