Bonnie Jo Hofeldt Theurer

Bonnie Jo Hofeldt Theurer, 68, passed away at her home in Casper Nov. 18, 2015. She was born June 19, 1947 in Rock Springs, to Emma Louise Kinniburgh Hofeldt and Harold Hofeldt.

Bonnie graduated from Lyman High School in 1965. After graduation, she attended Excelsis Beauty College in Salt Lake City. On Oct. 20, 1973 in Douglas, Bonnie married the love of her life, Del Theurer. Together they had a son Travis and made their home in Casper.

She enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, playing cards, trips to Deadwood, S.D., and listening to her husband play the guitar. After Del passed away in 1986, Bonnie used her education and worked as a cosmetologist for the next 29 years. At the time of her passing, she worked at Salon Savvy in Casper.

She had a flair for life and loved popcorn, playing bingo, the color blue, going out eat with Travis, driving fast with her sun roof open, and especially country music. She knew the words to every song, could tell you the singer, and loved to sing along. Her favorite was "Storms Never Last," by Waylon Jennings.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Del, her parents Harold and Emma Hofeldt, her sister Beverley Fackrell, a niece Trudi Jo Fackrell, a nephew Terry Ted Fackrell.

Bonnie was also an aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
