Library has more than books to offer

One is never too young to visit the library.

After a Monday toddler time, a program designed for children 0-2 years old, the children made their way out of the multipurpose room toward the books.

In most cases, the mothers picked out books while their children played in the Legos, tents, or trains set up in the youth services area of the library.

Becky Iwen, Sweetwater County Library youth services manager, said there is a nation-wide campaign by the American Library Association encouraging parents to talk to their babies as much as they can every day to encourage early childhood developme...
