Wolves advance to final showdown

Ends Broncs undefeated season

The Wolves celebrate their victory over Jackson Friday night. The Wolves will face Star Valley at War Memorial Stadium Friday at 3 p.m.

The Wolves ended the Jackson Hole Broncs' dreams of an undefeated season and a state championship Friday night.

The Wolves, walking into William T. McIntosh Stadium with a 5-4 record and No. 3 seed in the playoffs, had already lost to Jackson once in an earlier meeting between the two. Jackson, on the other hand, was coming off of a 44-21 win against Riverton at McIntosh Stadium and prepared to host the Wolves a second time.

Head coach Don Maggi said he was confident the Wolves would win in their return trip to Jackson Hole.
