Swimmers head to state

The Green River High School Girls Swimming and Diving Team has their eyes set on the state competition in Gillette, after winning the last chance meet in Rock Springs Thursday.

The team will send eight swimmers to the competition Friday and Saturday. Those going to Gillette are Avery Otto-Horn, Brianna Rath, Dakota Newmann, Emilee Mandros, Jarin Mandros, Shyana Hunt, McKell Lyon and Ashely Jensen.

“We’re all excited and ready to go,” head coach Colleen Seiloff said.
