Amy Kay Kolan

Amy Kay Kolan passed away June 5, 2015 at the age of 28. She is survived by her parents Dale Grant Kolan and Rosalie Carol Kolan of Fort Bridger. Siblings, Preston Dale Kolan of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Anton Gerald Kolan of Mountain View; Samantha RoseAnne Schoenberger of Tallahassee, Fla.; and Cody Robert Kolan of Fort Bridger; grandparents Victor and Ida Kolan of Lehi, Utah; nieces and nephews Ashton, Keaton, Daphne, Sadie, and Amber.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Gerald and Peggy Wardell of Yellville, Ark.

Kolan was born on July 3, 1986 in Evanston, to Dale and Rosalie Kolan. She was raised in Fort Bridger, until she graduated high school in 2005 and moved to Oceanside, Calif. While in California, she completed her bachelor of arts from California State University- San Marcos in visual and performing arts with an emphasis in technology. She won several awards for photography and design throughout San Diego County. In 2013, she returned home to help care for family, which also allowed her to expand her portfolio with astounding wildlife and scenery shots throughout the United States.

Services took place tuesday at the LDS church in Mountain View.
