Ladies focus on physicality

The Green River High School girl’s soccer team quest for a state title will begin Thursday against Laramie.

The second seeded Lady Wolves will take on third-seed Laramie (10-4-2) at 11 a.m. at Rock Springs Junior High School.

“I think we need to play more physical,” Wyant said about Thursday’s match.

She believes soccer teams in the western portion of the state don’t play as physically as teams in the east. Wyant said the Lady Plainsmen play very fast and physical games, which will force the Lady Wolves to up their game.

“We have to match that level of play,” Wyant said.
