Virginia Grace Skorcz

Virginia Grace Skorcz, 67, of Farson passed away April 19, 2015 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. A longtime resident of Farson, Skorcz died following a lengthy illness.

She was born on Feb. 1, 1948 in Rock Springs, the daughter of the late Woodrowe Taylor Pennock and Marjorie Fiscus Pennock.

Skorcz went to the Rock Springs High School and graduated with the class of 1966.

She also attended and graduated from Western Wyoming Community College with an associate of arts degree.

She married Donald Skorcz in Rock Springs March 1, 1969.

Her interests included cooking and baking for her friends and family. She also liked to camp and fish, most important was spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband Donald Skorcz of Farson; three sons, Brian Jacob Skorcz and Kevin Dale Skorcz both of Farson, and Wade Everett Skorcz of Rock Springs; one brother, Gary Pennock and wife Juanita of Pinedale; brother's in laws and sisters in laws Jack and Lila Skorcz of Rock Springs, Russell and Jeannie Skorcz of Lander, Fred and Linda Skorcz of Cheyenne, and Ernie and Joan Kamaitis of Florida; three granddaughters, Tiffani Skorcz, Kaycee Skorcz and Ashley Skorcz; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father Jake Homan; sister-in-law Susan Pennock and nephew Richard Pennock.

Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday at the Farson Community Center in Farson. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
