Green River senior Dylan Rust had a great meet last weekend in Utah. This week, the Wolves track team will travel to Rock Springs.
The Green River High School track team had some strong individual performances at the Alpha Invite Track Meet last Thursday and Friday in Orem, Utah.
Head coach Steve Boyd said they were on spring break so they didn't have a full team, but it was a true twilight meet and the kids got the opportunity to run under the lights.
"Which was a neat experience for them. We rarely get the opportunity to run under the lights," Boyd said.
Senior Dylan Rust took first in the discus with a personal best and a new meet record toss of 153-3.
