In just one game under the direction of interim head coach Rick Carroll, the Green River High Schools girl’s basketball team showed amazing growth on the defensive side of the floor.
In their second matchup of the season against Star Valley, the Lady Wolves showed marked improvement on defense, holding the Lady Braves to 28 fewer points than the first matchup in December that ended with a final of 63-26.
While Green River lost the game 35-18, Carroll said the girls were extremely competitive and he was really pleased with the way they played defense.
