Boys basketball looks to start strong


After a rough start last Friday at Star Valley, the Green River High School boy’s basketball team is looking to get out of the gates quicker Thursday evening against Sheridan.

A quick start by the Braves put the Wolves in an early hole in the 58-40 loss.

Head coach Dan LaRose said the team had a game plan for the Star Valley game, but his team came out flat.

LaRose said it was a long bus ride and wait for the game, but there comes a time you have to say that the game is going to start and you have to be physically and mentally ready to play.
