The Green River High School cross country team had some strong performances at the Glen Legler Cross Country Invitational in Casper.
Josie Givens continued her torrid 2014 pace with a second place finish and a time of 20:01.35. Campbell County sophomore Sydney Wendt won the race with a time of 19:49.53.
Head coach Steve Boyd said Givens continues to run strong and she was right there with Wendt, who finished second at state last season.
Boyd said Cheyenne McMichael who finished 16th with a time of 22:44 did a great job and set a personal best.
