    The Wolves hit the road for the second week in a row to take on the always tough Star Valley Braves in their conference opener Friday, but ended with a difficult 31-0 shutout in favor of the Braves.     The Lady Wolves volleyball team won one against Jackson and lost one to Evanston last week. The Green River High School Lady Wolves volleyball team fought hard Thursday while on the road, but they still lost to Evanston in five sets, 25-18, 25-17, 23-25, 27-29, 15-11.     Green River High School’s golf team saw improvement during its season, with many of its golfers playing in the 90-95 range, according to assistant coach Mike Baker. “Last year, it was hard to break 110,” he said. The boy’s team finished 10th place at state this year, while the girls were unable to have enough players to field a team.     The Wolves had a good run during the tennis season. The girls team took fifth while the boys placed ninth and the teams came home with a few players making the All-State list. The teams competed in Gillette at the state tennis tournament over the weekend, with many of the teams making it far in the brackets.     The Lady Wolves swimming team continued to showcase their skills this past week at Big Piney and Evanston. The Green River High School Lady Wolves swimming team took first in Evanston Saturday and they excelled at Big Piney Thursday evening. The team picked up another state qualifier this weekend when Adrienne Merrick qualified in the 100-yard freestyle.     Algae blooms have been discovered at the Lost Dog area of the Flaming Gorge, prompting the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality and Wyoming Department of Health to issue an advisory for people recreating in the area.
