Starting Tuesday, hours at the Sweetwater County Library in Green River will be reduced. The library will now be open Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from Noon to 5 p.m. Overall, the changes result in the library being opened for five fewer hours than previously. Steven Dean McLaren was sentenced to a lengthy prison sentence on five felony counts, including Attempted Second Degree Murder, by Third Judicial District Court Judge Richard Lavery on August 31, 2016. A deer with a drooping, broken antler, that was visibly distressed was helped by a local agency.
