The Wyoming National Guard will complete two weeks of training at the Greater Green River Intergalactic Spaceport in August. Responding to seven calls within five hours, the Green River Fire Department had a busy day last week. The drowning death of a Green River resident is being investigated by the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office. Frank M. Ortega, 63, died Saturday while snorkeling alone in windy conditions approximately 50 feet offshore, between Squaw Hollow and Anvil Draw.
