    Two days after a Rock Springs man succumbed to complications resulting from a COVID-19 infection, a second person died from the illness. According to the Sweetwater County Public Health, a Green River woman in her 90s died July 15 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. She initially tested positive for coronavirus infection July 7. She experienced worsening symptoms and was admitted to the hospital July 11.     Responding to seven calls within five hours, the Green River Fire Department had a busy day last week. The calls took place from 3-8 p.m., Wednesday and included a structure fire reported at 4:30 p.m., at 610 Wilson St. According to Larry Erdmann, assistant fire chief, the fire was caused by a plastic cigarette butt container placed next to the trailer. Ortega, 63, died Saturday while snorkeling alone in windy conditions approximately 50 feet offshore, between Squaw Hollow and Anvil Draw.
