    The Green River High School boy’s soccer team showed tremendous resolve last Saturday with a 3-2 home win over Kelly Walsh. The 4A West Conference victory came one day after a tough 2-1 loss to Natrona. The Friday loss against the Mustangs was the first game without five players who were suspended last week for 21 days for unspecified reasons.   • Cheerleading tryouts slated for next week

    The Green River High School cheerleading team is hosting a tryout meeting May 5. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. in the school commons. All eighth through 11th grade girls and boys interested in trying out for the varsity team should attend the meeting with a parent. The tryouts will take place May 11-14 in the high school auxiliary gym.
