Knights claim 3rd at state

The Green River Knights showed the state what they're made of at the Wyoming Legion Baseball A tournament in Torrington last week, taking third.

The Knights faced stiff competition at the start of the tournament Wednesday, entering as the fourth seed for the west and facing the first seeded team from the east, the Wheatland Lobos. The Knights upset the Lobos, which had entered the tournament off of a 3-0 streak in the eastern district tournament, with a final score of 11-6.
