Selwyn Robert of West Jordan, Utah, succumbed to kidney failure at his home, surrounded by family and loved ones Aug. 5, 2018.
Selwyn was born in Wales Jan. 15, 1938, and immigrated to the United States in 1975 with his immediate family.
He was self-educated, loved reading, history, soccer, darts and a good pint of beer.
He is survived by his son Barry, daughter Tracy and grandchildren Tommy, Tracy, Emily and Katie.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eirwen Roberts.
A time of gathering and remembrance will take place at Kramer Family Funeral Home, 2500 South Decker Lake Blvd, Suite 1, West Valley City, Utah Friday from 5-7 p.m.
