Sherman W. Mangum

Sherman W. Mangum, 83, passed away July 1, 2018, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. He had been a resident of Rock Springs for many years. 

He was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Roanoke, Va., the son of George Wilson Mangum and Lelia Anne Williams.

He married Cecelia Misty McKee in Pierre Hughes County, S.D., March 31, 1977, and she preceded him in death Oct. 20, 2003, at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs.

Mangum worked as a journeyman meat cutter for many years.

He enjoyed beadwork and collecting records.
