Torch run set in R.S.

Some officers from the Green River Police Department will participate in the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Law Enforcement agencies from across Sweetwater County will participate in the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run Friday. The 2-mile run begins at Walnut Elementary in Rock Springs at 10 a.m., a press release stated.

Luke Benson, GRPD detective and public relations officer, said he didn’t know how many officers would be participating, but it a great tradition and their opportunity to past the torch through this section of Wyoming.
