The Green River High School track team split up last week as eight competitors traveled north to the Casper Classic, while a number of the remaining members competed at the Mountain Man Invitational in Pinedale.
The Classic is a meet in which athletes need to prequalify by having one of the 10 best marks in their event for all events except the sprints and hurdles,. With sprints and hurdles, it is only the top eight that qualify regardless of the school’s division.
