Boys win 2 on the road

The Wolves notched up two more wins over the weekend, defeating both Evanston and Jackson on the road.

The Wolves shut out the Red Devils 2-0 Friday evening, then came home and hit the road again to defeat the Broncs 2-1. Head coach Chris Bieber said previously the road trip would be tough on the team, as the amount of time they would be spending on the road could impact their ability to play in Jackson, but their victory waved away any doubts.

The team is hitting the road once more this weekend, traveling to Casper to take on Kelly Walsh and Natrona County High School. In their previous meetings with the Wolves in Green River, the Mustangs took a 1-0 loss, while the Trojans were able to battle to a 1-1 tie. The Wolves will take on NCHS first on Friday, before setting their sights on Kelly Walsh the following day.

Following those final two games, the Wolves will come back to play in Green River for one final tournament, regionals, which takes place May 10-12. Regionals will determine which teams advance to State, which is scheduled for May 17-19 in Jackson.
