Season starts strong for Wolves

Wish a commanding victory over the Lander Tigers, the Green River High School varsity football team is off to a strong start.

Head coach Don Maggi said he’s happy with how much the team has worked since starting practices Aug. 9.

“We’ve gotten a little better with each practice,” Maggi said.

The team’s offensive line has improved a lot over the past few weeks and quarterback Chance Hofer has played well during the jamboree with Mountain View, as well as their first game against Lander, he said.
