Martin Chestine

Martin Chestine, 98, of Rock Springs, passed away April 14, 2017, at his home. A longtime resident of Rock Springs and former resident of California, Chestine had been in ill health for the past six months.  

He was born Jan. 14, 1919, in Shady Point, Okla., the son of Cecil and Rose Davis Chestine. 

Chestine attended schools in Oklahoma. 

He married Edith M. Umbanhowar in Manila, Utah, in October of 1940 and she preceded him in death Sept. 19, 2012.
